Award-winning journalist Amy Goodman, host of the daily, grassroots, global, radio/TV news hour Democracy Now!, is on a national speaking tour to mark DN!'s 12th anniversary and launch her third book with journalist David Goodman, Standing Up to the Madness: Ordinary Heroes in Extraordinary Times.

TICKETS:This event is free and open to the public
DIRECTIONS:The Graduate School of Journalism is located on Columbia's Morningside Heights campus at Broadway and 116th Street in
Manhattan. In order to reach the school, enter through the Columbia
gates on east side of Broadway at 116th Street. Make your first
right, then your next first right along the walkway. The doors to
enter the school will be on your right, in front of the statue of
Thomas Jefferson.

By Bus or Subway:
The M4, M5, M11, M60, M104 bus routes and the Number 1 IRT Subway
line serve the Columbia neighborhood. The M60 bus is a direct link
between the campus and LaGuardia Airport. The M4, M60 and M104 bus,
and the Number 1 local Subway line all stop at the main campus
entrance at 116th Street and Broadway.
